The Pierre Area Running Club was founded in February 2003. We are a low-key, low maintenance club and there are no membership fees. We’re just a group of people that love to run and get together on a regular basis. We also organize a few local running events and coordinate carpools to other events across South Dakota and even in the nation.

The trail is open! We meet every Saturday morning at 8:05 a.m. No matter the weather someone always shows, but normally between 6 to 16 people depending on the day. The length can vary anywhere from three to seven miles. We meet at the PARCing lot which is located by the tennis courts, across from the ball diamond, behind St. Mary's hospital.
